Ritsue Mishima

Glass artist and sculptor Ritsue Mishima was born in Kyoto, Japan in 1962. She began her career as a stylist with advertising firms where she was inspired by creating art installations using flowers. After moving to Italy in 1989, Mishima was exposed to the art of glass and began collaborating with master glass blowers Andrea Zilio and Giacomo Barbini. She continues to create glass sculptures and other pieces of art in Italy.
